Christopher Wicked album cover art, top notch death thrash and a collaboration with Hellripper's James McBain? Was sold the minute I saw that. The remastered tracks from Morbid Prophecy sound killer, especially the demo remix of Sadistic Saviour sounds even more vehement (I enjoyed both versions honestly) and even though I'm not a fan of live albums and such, I have to admit the end result from the recording for the live tracks is astounding. Favorite track: Rise Into Nothing (feat. Hellripper).

The Bleeding is back with the EP ‘Rise Into Nothing’ the follow up to their 2019 album ‘Morbid Prophecy’. ‘Rise Into Nothing’ showcases the furious new title track featuring James McBain of Hellripper on guest vocals.

Mixed and mastered in Sweden by producer Ronnie Björnström, ‘Rise Into Nothing’ also contains the 2021 reworkings of Hammer of Penance and Morbid Prophecy, as well as an unreleased demo remix of Sadistic Saviour. The EP closes with 3 live tracks from the Rites of Absolution era.

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max.
